If you’re someone as famous in the gaming world as Metal Gear Solid mainstay Hideo Kojima, you can get to have your own webcast, aptly named Kojima Station. If you also happen to be the game director of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V” The Phantom Pain, you can also happen to stream some of that good old footage from the PS4 version of the game, because, well, you’re Hideo Kojima.
While the glimpse is brief, it gives Metal Gear Solid fans a ‘solid’ (pun definitely intended) grasp of what’s to come at E3, including the return of the old reliable carboard box, despite the more serious tone of the game. Just for the occasion, the box got a camo paintjob, and it still looks absolutely silly, but lovable.
You can can check it out the Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain gameplay video below while we wait to see the rest at E3 next week.
