Luis Nieves, a freelance 3D artist whose CV lists work on several high-profile games, has given us a bit more hope for the existence of Fallout 4 and the grand reveal everybody is anticipating at Bethesda’s E3 conference this year.
Nieves’ LinkedIn profile features all sorts of videogame-related work including Far Cry 4 and The Elder Scrolls Online for Blur Studios, but rather curiously briefly made mention that the artist had recently worked on a “Fallout 4 cinematic trailer” for Mirada studios. The listing has since been removed, but a screenshot can be seen below:
Film director Guillermo del Toro founded Mirada studios. The company has worked on a number of projects for the likes of Disney, Katey Perry and IBM - so it isn’t too far-fetched that Bethesda would make use of them for a potential big release such as Fallout 4.
We’ve reached out to Bethesda for comment, but if we hear anything back it will likely be of the “we do not comment on rumor and speculation” variety.
