Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’s first downloadable content pack will introduce the fifth playable character for the game, Handsome Jack’s Clone.

Handsome Jack’s Doppelgänger pack will be available November 11 for the PS3, the Xbox 360 and Steam for $9.99. Players can also pre-order all upcoming DLC content by purchasing the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel season pass for $29.99.

In the new Doppelgänger class, Handsome Jack’s Clone will be able to summon two additional Digi-Jacks to fight along side him. These virtual copies will fight along side the Jack Clone in combat absorbing damage till they die and then respawn along side the player later. The Digi-Jacks can potentially earn bonuses and Second Winds in Fight For Your Life mode depending on how the player specs out their skill tree.

The Handsome Jack Clone’s skill tree has three branches. The left branch -The Hero of this Story- adds damage to grenades. The second -Greater Good- branch adds buffs to the Fight For Your Life mode for single player and co-op mode. The final branch -Free Enterprise- gives the Jack Clone perks for wielding guns made by certain manufactures, shooting fast, switching guns often, and picking up money in combat.

The Borderlands franchise is popular for uniquely blending elements of the first-person shooter and RPG genres. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is the third addition to the series following Handsome Jack’s rise to power on Pandora and connecting the events in Borderlands and Borderlands 2.
