E3 2014: Tom Clancy’s The Division - E3 More Gameplay Revealed

maxresdefault-1

Everyone’s jaws were left dropping after Tom Clancy’s The Division‘s first gameplay trailer was revealed; it looks stunning, with outstanding graphics set in a surreal, futuristic post-apocalyptic world.

The latest gameplay trailer of The Division that has just been revealed at E3 shows us a few more features; the sheer scale of the map is shown through the ability to walk through the entire subway system as well as the vast streets of the city as shown above on the map.

A new base-of-operations system has also been revealed where players can unlock new areas to use as their headquarters, having eradicated its current occupants; this could potentially mean we can have ammo resupply stations, health stations and even more originating from these bases.

A couple of other new gameplay features have also been shown, such as stealth-killing, which rather funnily fails in the gameplay shown. There is also a form of support shown off through the use of drones that can act as flash bangs by constantly flashing in the eyes of the enemies, or simply electrocuting them if they walk on the device on the floor. The trailer also showed how enemy backup can quickly arrive and deal a lot of damage if you don’t manage the situation well enough.

Perhaps this was an extra teaser to compensate for the delayed release date? In any case, we’re glad we got to see some more from the highly anticipated The Division.
